Natural Mystic's Wilderness Education Camp is an immersive experience that is designed to foster a deep connection between participants and nature. Camp experiences are designed to foster happiness, vitality, fun, health, expansion of the senses, listening, critical thinking, empathy, compassion, reflection, patience, perseverance, and commitment.
Level 1
Learn:
Fire building
Shelter building using a tarp (if time natural shelters)
Aidless Navigation
Knife Safety and Use
Introduction to carving
Introduction to useful plants
Sensory awareness techniques and routines
Level 2
Learn:
Advanced fire building (new techniques not included in level 1)
Advanced shelter building using materials from the natural world
Navigating using a map and compass
Tool crafting (traps, snares, different types of spears)
Basic wildlife tracking
Sensory awareness activities
Sit spot
Medicinal plants (exposure to more medicinal plants and their uses than level 1)
Participants may sign up for Level 2 if they have previously completed Level 1 or attended the Wilderness Survival program in the past.
A $30.00 non refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
