Indoor Pickleball at Newton North - Beginner and Beyond Beginner - Full Session Play doubles round robin style games with other pickleball players. Players must pre-register for either the full session or individual weeks. Online registration is required - no drop ins allowed. Pickleball punch cards are not valid for this program. Space is limited so register early. Only registered participants will be allowed to sign in. Please do not arrive early. Players will be allowed in 15 minutes before their program start time. At Newton North - courts are on a hard rubber surface. 3 courts will be reserved for beginners, and 3 for intermediate/advanced players.

Winter Swimming Lessons - Preschool 4&5 @ 10:00am Parks, Recreation & Culture is pleased to offer Winter Swim Lessons held at the Newton North High School Pool. Registration Fee:$275.00 for Newton Residents $325.00 for Non Residents (NO CLASSES: 12/24 & 12/31)About the Program:The Swim Lesson Program will be taught by Swim Instructors and their assistants. The lessons will follow an American Red Cross curriculum, adjusted to each class as necessary.The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.Notes for Parents:On the first day of the session, the instructors will evaluate each student to ensure they are in the right class levelPlease arrive early the first week to check in with the Head Instructor and get familiar with the facility.Check in with the staff member in the Lobby. Enter the high school thru the Main Entrance at Tiger Drive.Locker rooms, changing areas, showers and restrooms are available for swimmers & parents.If you have questions about your child's swim lessons, please see the Head Instructor.What to bring: swim suit & a towel.
