About the InstructorHead Instructor Ravi brings a unique blend of technical expertise and martial arts mastery to his teaching. With an M.S. in Civil Engineering and over 23 years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering, he has been actively involved with professional engineering organizations throughout his career. Since his early twenties, Ravi has dedicated himself to the study and practice of martial arts, accumulating more than 15 years of experience teaching both kids and adults. As a 3rd degree black belt instructor certified by the New England Martial Arts Center and a certified Qi Gong instructor from the New England School of Tai Chi, Ravi’s passion for martial arts inspired him to transition from engineering to founding martial arts centers in Wellesley and Acton. Beyond his teaching and coaching, he stays active through badminton, tennis, hiking, pickleball, and swimming, and cherishes time spent with family and friends. His diverse background and commitment to personal growth make him a dynamic and inspiring instructor.
