The City Hall Strummers community ukulele band meets at The Cooper Center For Active Living, 345 Walnut Street, Newtonville. On street parking is available as well as limited spaces at the Cooper Center as well as in the municipal lot behind the residential building 28 Austin Street. Parking meters do not run past 6pm. The strummers meet in activity room 1 on the second floor. Bring your ukulele, a music stand and a smile. You can download our songbook here.
There is free WiFi in the building if you bring a tablet to access the songbook. We play a few gigs every year and enjoy good singing, strumming and lots of laughs every week! All skill levels welcome. Email pgannon@newtonma.gov with questions.
