See how your creative construction skills compare to those of your peers. Design the gingerbread house (or other structure) of your dreams and share it with the public in our Gingerbread House Exhibit & Contest. Exhibit visitors will vote to select people's choice winners in four categories. Enter as an Individual Youth (under age 15), an Individual Adult (over age 15), a Youth Team (members all under age 15), or an Adult Team. Teams can be family members, friend groups, business organizations, etc.
Houses must be created on your own and delivered to Newton City Hall Monday-Wednesday December 1-3. You may email culture@newtonma.gov if those dates do not work for you. Participants will be asked to provide a name for their construction at drop-off.
If you are registering as a team, please complete just one registration; you will be asked for your team name and its members as part of the checkout process.
Please read the complete rules and regulations, including the project timeline, at checkout (remember all items used to construct your house must be edible!). Registration closes November 21.
