The Newton Parks, Recreation & Culture Department's mission is to provide traditional and innovative recreation, leisure, and cultural activities in a quality environment for all residents of Newton, as well as to manage the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of the natural resources of the City. We seek donors on an ongoing basis for a variety of community-wide events, including cultural activities and performances, community festivals, and family and youth-oriented projects. Without this community support we wouldn't be able to continue to provide the same level of free and low cost events to the public as we currently do.
