Winter is a time when we are called to deep rest. It is an invitation to tap into the rich and nurturing quietude of the season. Taking the time to sink into the energies of Winter can restore our vitality for the rest of the year.
In 6 weeks this class will explore Traditional Chinese Medical theory about living in harmony with the winter season. We will practice gentle exercises to move and circulate the body, explore alignment and balance, learn simple self-massage techniques for relaxation and restoration, and do gentle breathing and energy exercises for a peaceful mind.
This class will meet on Monday mornings from 10 to 11 am.
