Albemarle Acres

Albemarle Acres is a summer day camp held at Franklin elementary school in Newton for children entering grades 1-5 in the Fall. We will accept kids going into 6th grade if they have previously attended Albemarle Acres or have a younger sibling also attending.

Campers are grouped based on the grade they are entering in the Fall and participate in a variety of activities with their group each day including sports, arts and crafts, inside games, gym, playground, language arts activities, STEM, special events, and more. 

We will take a bus to Gath Pool for swimming 2 to 3 times each week.  Campers can choose if they want to go swimming or not.  Those campers not wanting to swim will stay back at camp.  Campers registered for 2 or more weeks at Albemarle Acres will get a summer swim membership to Gath Pool that can be used throughout the summer.  

Field trips will be offered during our 2nd, 4th and 6th week of camp.  The cost of field trip weeks is $10.00 more expensive to help with the added expense of admission and buses.  

Campers may register for any number of weeks.  There is a $30.00 non refundable deposit per week due with the registration.
