Gath Pool Summer Swim Lessons Session #1

Session #1:

6/28/2021 through 7/9/2021

Lessons are held Monday through Friday mornings. Ten total lessons per session.

Registration Fee:

Newton Residents: $130.00 per session 

Non- Residents: $165.00 per session 

*ALL swim lesson participants must have a summer pool membership. This can be purchased at the front desk or ONLINE (recommended). You will pick up your scan tag at your first visit to the pool. This is a separate on time purchase per summer. Non Residents are not eligible for a summer membership so the non resident price reflects the difference.

About the Program:

The Swim Lesson Program will be taught by Swim Instructors and their assistants. The lessons will follow an American Red Cross curriculum, adjusted to each class as necessary.

The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.

There are no refunds or makeup classes for students that miss a day of class. In the event the facility is closed (ex: Thunder) you will receive a credit applied to your account that can be used for any Parks & Recreation program including future swim lessons or summer camps.


Notes for Parents:

On the first day of the session, the instructors will evaluate each student to ensure they are in the right class level

Please arrive early the first week to check in with the Head Instructor and get familiar with the facility.

Check in at the Front Desk each morning. 

Locker rooms, changing areas, showers and restrooms are available for swimmers & parents.

If you have questions about your child's swim lessons, please see the Head Instructor.

Swim Lessons are held in rain or shine. Pool only closes for Thunder/Lightening.

What to bring: swim suit & a towel. Goggles optional. Lessons are held outdoors so please practice sun safety and wear sunscreen. 

*All participants must be fully toilet trained
