Training with The Playful Mindset
This training is for camp staff that will be working at at Albemarle Acres, Camp Extreme, Golf Camp, Kids Korner, Outdoor Adventure and Vacation Camp.
This interactive staff training strengthens group management, engagement, and staff confidence, helping to create inclusive, structured, and high-energy environments where campers feel safe, connected, and ready to participate.
The training blends movement, games, reflection, and practical tools that staff can apply immediately on day one of camp. By the end of the training, staff will be able to:
- Build quick, authentic rapport with campers to establish trust, belonging, and emotional safety
- Set clear, age-appropriate expectations that promote safety, respect, and inclusion
- Use playful structure and consistent routines to manage large groups effectively
- Respond to common camp challenges with confidence, consistency, and positive authority
- Incorporate attention-getters and micro-movement strategies to reset, refocus, and re-engage groups
- Maintain engagement during transitions, downtime, and high-energy moments
