Chair Based Yoga

This class, which centers on relaxation and coordinating breath with movement, promises to be gentle.  It can be done sitting in a chair or standing, and will accommodate those who use walkers and canes, have limited flexibility and vision, or have never tried yoga before. 

Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing.  Classes are designed for all body types and  all levels of experience, with a focus on alignment and safety. 

This class is taught by Barbara Perlo of Artemis Yoga.  Barbara holds a master's degree in education and an RN- registered nurse degree.  You will find Barbara's classes challenging yet playful, and you will leave feeling relaxed and centered.
