Pickity Place- Wednesday, May 7th
A very special luncheon. Pickity Place is a unique little red cottage that has graced the hills of southern New Hampshire since 1786, seemingly untouched by time. Their five-course creative herbal cuisine draws guests from all over New England and beyond thyme after thyme. From start to finish our luncheon courses feature fresh herbs and edible flowers harvested daily from our very own culinary garden.

Adult Lobby Day- Tuesday, May 13th
Please join us on a trip to the State House for this important day. We will depart at 10:30 a.m. from the Albemarle Field House in Newton and return at 2:30 p.m. (traffic permitting).
We Are Here! By 2030, Massachusetts is projected to have more than two million residents age 60+, representing 28.4% of the total population, yet older adults and people with disabilities are being short-changed and underfunded for critical home and community-based services - programs which ultimately generate significant savings for the state while allowing consumers to remain in their homes with better health outcomes and higher quality of life.
Please join us at the State House to let your legislators know that We Are Here and urge them to fund and support quality, effective, and cost-efficient home and community-based services during lobby day!

Older Adult Lobby Day is co-hosted by the Massachusetts Councils on Aging, Mass Aging Access, Dignity Alliance Massachusetts, Massachusetts Senior Action, AARP, MAMH, OABHN, ABCD, HEARTH, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
This trip is free and sponsored by the Newton Council on Aging, but space on the bus is limited, and registration is required.

Blue Garden- Thursday, June 19th
The Blue Garden is exquisite and was originally designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. to create a secret garden inspired by shades of blue. Flowers in a variety of blue hues and shades reflect the sky and ocean. Situated in Newport RI, being invited to the garden was the most anticipated summer season event of all. We invite you to join us on June 19th. Our tour begins at 11:00 a.m. and we will stop on the way home for lunch at Provencal Bakery and Café. Participants will purchase lunch on their own.

Summer Day Trip to Newport Rhode Island- Boat Ride and Sightseeing
Wednesday, July 16th Great shopping, outdoor dining, live music and twinkling harbor lights make this the best place to experience your visit to Newport. Passengers will be dropped at Bowmen’s Wharf to enjoy shopping and dining on their own. Enjoy one or more of the many dining selections offered. Next, we are off for a summer boat ride! The Coastal Queen offers narrated boat tours of magnificent Newport Harbor and lower Narragansett Bay on its daily Scenic Bay Cruises. This vessel offers maximum comfort with great sightseeing views from every seat. Guests will enjoy views of local lighthouses, forts and harbor estates.
